Beautiful Theo has been reborn from the preemie sculpt Mackinley Grace by Becky Bright this baby is 119 of a limited edition of 300.

Behold this tiny little miracle baby born so early at 24 weeks gestation. A baby is considered premature when he or she is born before 37 weeks gestation. These precious gifts are usually very small and some of them have to remain in hospital for weeks and even months before they can go home. The smallest of these babies are called mico-preemies weighing a mere one to three pounds. Due to the that their little bodies have not had enough time in the womb to develop properly, they need lots of special attention and medical care to make sure they continue to grow up properly, however the unfortunate truth is some of them are just too small to survive. Thankfully, due to medical help and some devine intervention more and more of these MiniMiracles are surviving and thriving every single day!

Theo's photographs were inspired from my own daughters birth photographs. She was born premature and had all the tubes and monitors attached to her, she is now a healthy eight year old!! I have not included the medical equipment in the sale of Theo but if you would like them please email me at the end of auction.

Theo has been created using Genesis heat set paints. This is permanent and non-fading. This process takes many hours of work but the results are amazing. Theo has very true to life baby skin which has tiny veins in all the right places, he has 3d skin which is textured with tiny raised capillaries. No crease has been over looked.

Theo has been realisticly weighted to give him that cuddley feel, he just moulds into your arms just like a real baby. Once you have picked him up you will find it hard to put him down! I have weighted him using safe babyfat and top quality fibrefill in his specially made tiny body, his limbs are weighted with micro glass and topped with quality fibrefill and then securly sealed. His head will also need support just like a real baby as it is weighted with glass granules and quality fibrefill, this has also been securly sealed.

I have micro rooted Theo's hair with top quality premium kid mohair from the US .It is a light brown colour and is so soft and natural looking. I have micro rooted his hair with a wispy look of a premature baby using the finest gage rooting needle, this takes hours of work as the hair is rooted no more than two hairs at a time. His hair is directionally rooted with a natural crown making it easy to style. His hair has been sealed on the inside with a waterproof sealent so you can gently wash and style his hair. I have also micro rooted his eyelashes with the same premium light brown mohair.

Theo comes with a magnetic preemie pacifier which is made of very soft plastic and moulds to his face so he won't have that balancing on the face look with this paci. Please note that these magnets are very strong and should not be used near computers or people with pace makers etc.

Theo comes home to his new family with a laminated rebirth certificate (if you would like his name changing please email me after purchase), laminated care notes, his original certificate of authenticity and original Angel keepers box. His layette includes: preemie coming home set in blue, vest, t-shirt, babygro, trousers, jacket, bib and hat. Hand knitted cardigan hat and booties in cream with hand knitted white baby shawl.
