AWARD WINNING NEWSPAPER ARTICLE BABY Lydia has also had a staring role in the up coming Channel 4 documentary 'MY FAKE BABY'. Which is to be aired on Channel 4 on the 2nd of January 2008 at 10pm. Lydia has been created using Genesis heat set paints. This is permanent and non-fading. This process takes many hours of work but the results are amazing. Lydia has very true to life baby skin which has tiny veins in all the right places, she has 3d skin which is textured with raised scratches on her nose and tiny milk spots, she also has tiny raised capillaries. No crease has been over looked. Lydia has been realisticly weighted to give her that cuddley feel, she just moulds into your arms just like a real baby. Once you have picked her up you will find it hard to put her down! I have weighted her using safe babyfat in cotton sachets and top quality fibrefill in her doe suede body, her limbs are weighted with micro glass and topped with quality fibrefill and then securly sealed. Her head will also need support just like a real baby as it is weighted with glass granules and quality fibrefill, this has also been securly sealed. I have micro rooted Lydia's hair with top quality premium kid mohair from the US. It is a honey blonde colour and is so soft and natural looking. I have micro rooted her hair using the finest gage rooting needle, this takes hours of work as the hair is rooted no more than two hairs at a time. Her hair is directionally rooted with a natural crown making it easy to style. Her hair has been sealed on the inside with a waterproof sealent so you can gently wash and style her hair. I have also micro rooted her eyelashes with the same premium honey blonde mohair. Lydia comes with a magnetic preemie pacifier which is made of very soft plastic and moulds to her face so she won't have that balancing on the face look with this paci. She also a magnetic hair bow to match her christening dress. Please note that these magnets are very strong and should not be used near computers or people with pace makers etc. I can if you wish remove the magnet from Lydia if you prefer. Lydia comes home to her new family with a genuine newspaper artical dated 25/04/07 in which she was featured, laminated rebirth certificate (if you would like her name changing please email me after purchase), laminated care notes. Her layette includes: White hand knitted christening shawl, cream christening dress with matching bloomers and hair bow. Mothercare Bon Ami cream outfit with socks, hand knitted cream cardigan, vest scratch mits, pink pacifier and nappy. I hope you have enjoyed looking at baby Lydia and if you decide to buy her I hope her new Mummy and Daddy love her as much as I do. Lydia is not a childs toy but a collectors item and should be treated as such |
