Luke has been reborn from The Tanner sculpt by Tasha Edenholm. He is made from very soft vinyl and he has a custom made body with disc jointed limbs for very realistic poses. All pictures of Luke were taken in natural day light over a few days hence the different casts and are in no way altered or enhanced.

Luke has been created using Genesis heat set paints. This is permanent and non-fading. This process takes many hours of work but the results are amazing. Luke has very true to life baby skin which has tiny veins in all the right places, he has 3d skin which is textured with raised scratches on his nose and tiny milk spots, he also has tiny raised capillaries. No crease has been over looked. His nose has been gently opened and backed with felt so now he is a breathing baby.

Luke has been realisticly weighted to give him that cuddley feel, he just moulds into your arms just like a real baby. Once you have picked him up you will find it hard to put him down! I have weighted him using safe babyfat and top quality fibrefill in his custom made body, his limbs are weighted with micro glass and topped with quality fibrefill and then securly sealed. His head will also need support just like a real baby as it is weighted with glass granules and quality fibrefill, this has also been securly sealed.

I have micro rooted Lukes hair with top quality kid mohair in a baby brown colour using the finest gage rooting needle. This takes hours of work as the hair is rooted no more than two hairs at a time. His hair is directionally rooted with a natural crown making it easy to style. As you can see I have styled Lukes hair in two different ways, wet and dry to show how natural his hair is. His hair has been sealed on the inside with a waterproof sealent so that you can wash and gently style his hair.

Luke comes home to his new Mummy and Daddy with a laminated rebirth certificate laminated care notes. His matching layette which was chosen especially for him includes: White knitted blanket, white vest, beautiful blue romper with crochet shoes and bakers cap, nappy and blue preemie pacifier.
